Town of Ulster

Theresa A. Juliano, 65, of Zebulon, N.C., was arrested at 9:55 a.m. Friday by state police at Ulster at their barracks on felony charges of grand larceny, falsifying business records and offering a false instrument for filing. She was arraigned and released on her own recognizan­ce to appear in Ulster Town Court.

Catskill

Gary G. Kolkau, 28, of Catskill was arrested at 2:10 a.m. Saturday on state Route 32 by state police at Catskill on a misdemeano­r charge of drunken driving and the infraction of failure to keep right. He was released on tickets to appear in Catskill Town Court.

Marbletown

Iris Garcia, 28, of Kingston was arrested Saturday on a misdemeano­r charge of aggravated unlicensed driving, as well as the infraction­s of failure to keep right and leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Ulster County sheriff’s deputies said they responded at about 11:55 p.m. Friday to a 911 call for a motor vehicle accident involving a utility pole on U.S. Route 209. Investigat­ion showed Garcia had been driving a 2002 Volkswagen south on Route 209 near Pine Tree Lane when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a utility pole, deputies said. Deputies said Garcia left the scene of the accident on foot and was later caught by sheriff’s K9 “Farrell.” The K9 tracked Garcia to a location about half a mile from the accident scene and found her hiding behind a building, deputies said. Garcia was released on tickets to appear in Marbletown Town Court.

Rosendale

Ryan S. Cole, 33, of High Falls was arrested Thursday on misdemeano­r charges of obstructio­n of government­al administra­tion, reckless endangerme­nt of property and menacing, as well as the violation of harassment. Ulster County sheriff’s deputies said they were called at 6:48 p.m. to a residence in High Falls for a report of a domestic dispute. Investigat­ion showed Cole had pushed the victim and attempted to strike that person with a large object, deputies said. Deputies said Cole also attempted to hit the victim’s vehicle with a large item as the victim tried to flee the area. Additional­ly, Cole tried to physically stop officers from entering the residence to investigat­e the incident, deputies said. Cole was arraigned in Rosendale Town Court and sent to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $500bail.

· DWI: Samantha L. Kelcinski, 21, of High Falls was arrested Thursday on a misdemeano­r charge of drunken driving. Ulster County sheriff’s deputies said they received a complaint of an intoxicate­d driver, leading to Kelcinski’s arrest. She was released on a ticket to appear in Rosendale Town Court.
