Area business people ‘On the Move’
Samantha AwandGortel, of Lanesville, N.Y., has been promoted to manager of the Phoeni- cia branch of Ulster Savings Bank.
She previously was head teller at the Phoenicia branch.
••• David Ping, of Rhinebeck, N.Y., has been appointed to a twoterm on the board of the eight-state Founders Affiliate board of directors of the American Heart Association.
Ping is senior vice president of strategic planning and business development with Health Quest, which includes Northern Dutchess Hospital, of Rhinebeck.
He was as chairman of the American Heart Association Heart Walks for Dutchess and Ulster counties and is current chairman of the American Heart Association Hudson Valley regional board of directors.
The board leads community programs, awareness initiatives, funding efforts, and grassroots advocacy efforts.
