Senior groups list meeting schedules
LAKE KATRINE >> The Town of Ulster Senior Club will take place Thursday, Oct. 13, at the Town of Ulster Senior Center, 1 Town Hall Drive.
Refreshments will be served at 12:30 p.m., with the meeting starting at 1 p.m.
A presentation by Woodstock Chimes is planned.
The club’s meetings are a time for friendship, socialization and the sharing of ideas. New members are always welcome. After the meetings, those who wish to stay can play bingo.
ROSENDALE >> The Town of Rosendale Seniors will have a social meeting on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m. at the Rosendale Recreation Center, Route 32.
The theme will be Halloween. All are welcome to come in costume. The executive board meeting will take place Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a business meeting at 1 p.m. at the center.
Trip reservations are being taken for the Oct. 20th trip to Kruckers in Pomoma for Oktoberfest. The cost is $61 per person. For more information, call Chickie at (845) 658-2414 or Hal at (845) 658-9020. All are welcome.
KINGSTON >> The First Capital Travel Club has scheduled the following casino trips:
• Oct. 24, Empire City in Yonkers, with the cost $29 per person.
• Nov. 14, Monticello Casino, with the cost $29 per person.

RED HOOK >> The Rhinebeck/Red Hook AARP will meet Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the Red Hook Community Center, 59 Fisk St.
There will be a social hour at 10:30 a.m., followed by the meeting at 11 a.m. and a speaker at 12:15 p.m. The speaker this month will be Brian Jones from the Dutchess County Office for the Aging. he will give a talk titled “Successful Aging.”
All are welcome.
KINGSTON >> The Sawkill Seniors will meet Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 1 p.m. at the Town of Kingston Town Hall, 906 Sawkill Road.
The guest speaker will be Katy Chambers, a representative of AMPM Home Care.
Monthly meetings take place on the second Wednesday of the month at 1 p.m. The meetings begin with a guest speaker and formal format, followed by a raffle, socializing and refreshments. There is also a card game for those who wish to participate. New members are welcome.
