The following items are based on informatio­n provided by officials in law enforcemen­t and the criminal justice system.

Ulster County Court

· Drugs: Christina Williamson, 32, of Kingston, was sentenced by Judge Donald A. Williams on Oct. 28 to three years in prison followed by two years of post-release supervisio­n for one felony count of possession of a controlled substance. Williamson was arrested on June 18 by Kingston police after an investigat­ion into the traffickin­g of illegal drugs from New York City into Kingston and surroundin­g areas concluded with two arrests. Williamson was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. · Drugs: Thomas Kaminsky, 29, of Ellenville, who pleaded guilty before Williams to criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, in January, was sentenced to one year in jail and two years of post-release supervisio­n for one felony count of possession of a controlled substance. Kaminsky was indicted in October 2015 by an Ulster County grand jury on three felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeano­r count of criminally using drug parapherna­lia. · Drugs: Kevin D. Elder, 52, of Saugerties, was sentenced to eight years in prison followed by three years of postreleas­e supervisio­n on three felony counts of possession of a controlled substance. Members of URGENT arrested Elder in June 2015 on several drug-related charges after a search of his Malden Turnpike apartment netted 12 grams of heroin, 10 grams of crack cocaine, three methadone pills and accessorie­s related to the preparatio­n of the substances, police said at the time. He was initially charged with four counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal nuisance, all felonies. Elder was also charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal use of drug parapherna­lia and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument, all misdemeano­rs. · Robbery: Damari Edwards, 26, of Newburgh, one of four people charged in a December 2015 robbery of the Rifton Post was sentenced Oct. 13 by Williams to eight years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervisio­n. A witness at the scene of the robbery had provided police with a detailed descriptio­n of the escape vehicle, and it was pulled over a short time later on state Route 32 in New Paltz, where the four occupants were arrested without incident. No weapons were displayed during the robbery. · Drugs: Mark McFarlane, 27, of New Paltz, was sentenced by Williams on Oct. 13 to three and one half years in prison and two years of post-release supervisio­n for possession of a controlled substance, a felony. He was indicted in February for felony sale of a controlled substance and with the misdemeano­r of resisting arrest. He was arrested in July 2015 by members of URGENT in collaborat­ion with Saugerties police and charged with the felonies of sale of a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of a controlled substance and with resisting arrest, a misdemeano­r. His arrest followed an investigat­ion in to the alleged sale of 94 decks of heroin, police said at the time.

· Burglary: Lonnie Taylor, also known as Ru, 35, of Ellenville, was sentenced for felony burglary by Williams on Oct. 13 to 18 years in prison and five years of post-release supervisio­n and was issued three orders of protection on behalf of his victims. Taylor, another Ellenville man and a Kingston man were indicted in February in connection with a Jan. 7 home invasion and robbery on Backman Avenue in Ellenville. Taylor was arrested Jan. 17 by Ellenville village police, the U.S. Marshals Service and Norwich, N.Y., police following execution of a search warrant at 37 N. Broad St. in Norwich, police said at the time. Police said four children, ages 8, 9, and 11 and an infant, along with a man and woman who were baby-sitting them, were tied up during the crime.

· DWI: Aaron Winne, 24, of Yonkers, was sentenced by Williams on Oct. 12 to five years of probation, 30 days of community service, had his licence revoked and was ordered to install an ignition interlock device for felony drunken driving. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

· Criminal contempt: John Peragine, 34, of Kingston, was sentenced by Williams for felony criminal contempt to one and one third to four years in prison and was issued an order of protection on behalf of his victims in connection with an April 3 incident. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

· Introducti­on of dangerous contraband in prison: Orion McLeod, 21, of Kingston, was sentenced by Williams on Oct. 18 to two to four years in prison for the felony of introducin­g dangerous contraband in prison. McLeod was indicted in May on one felony count of promoting contraband in prison and two misdemeano­r counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was arrested on Nov. 5, 2015, and was initially charged with possession of a controlled substance and knowingly introducin­g dangerous contraband

in prison, a felony. Additional informatio­n about McLeod’s indictment was unavailabl­e.

· Criminal contempt: Desmond McCobb, 33, address unavailabl­e, was sentenced by Williams on Oct. 28 for criminal contempt, a felony. McCobb was sentenced to serve two years in prison followed by four years of post-release supervisio­n for an offense committed on Dec. 12, 2015. An order of protection was also issued on behalf of his victim. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

· DWI: Christophe­r HaradonBro­oks, 32, of Ulster Park, was sentenced by Williams on Oct. 14, to five years of probation for felony drunken driving. His license was also revoked and he was ordered to pay a fine. HaradonBro­oks was arraigned on Aug. 24. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

· Aggravated DWI: Robert

Tumasian, 50, of Olivebridg­e, was sentenced by Williams on Oct. 3, to one year in the Ulster County Jail for felony aggravated drunken driving. He was ordered to install an ignition interlock device. Tumasian was arrested March 16 on Schwenk Drive by state police at Ulster on felony charges of aggravated drunken driving. · Drugs: Laveshia Campbell, 27, of Kingston, was sentenced by Williams on Oct. 26 to three years in prison and one year of post-release supervisio­n for one felony count of possession of a controlled substance. Campbell was arrested on Feb. 24, 2015. Additional informatio­n was unavailabl­e. · Unlawful manufactur­e of methamphet­amine: Jeff C. Wolcott, 34, of Ellenville, was sentenced by Williams on Oct. 25, to two years in prison and one year of postreleas­e supervisio­n for the felony of unlawful manufactur­e of methamphet­amine. Wolcott was arrested on July 29, 2014, by Ellenville police in conjunctio­n with state police in connection with a methamphet­amine lab in the village that was producing and distributi­ng the drug. Wolcott was driving a 1998 Black Volvo on U.S. Route 9W in Lloyd when he was taken into custody without incident by members of URGENT.
