Frank Pesko, stand­ing at left, a 2008 Kingston High School grad­u­ate and lo­cal artist, in­structs a group of young peo­ple Wed­nes­day af­ter­noon in a be­gin­ning print-mak­ing class at PUGG, the Pop Up Gallery Group, at 624 Broad­way in Mid­town Kingston. PUGG is an af­ter-school work/study pro­gram spon­sored by the city of Kingston and the Kingston school district. The print-mak­ing class is the first of a se­ries of art-based work­shops for stu­dent 12 to 14 years old. Par­tic­i­pants on Wed­nes­day, all for Kingston, in­cluded, seated from left: An­gel Lozada, 14, son of Faith Marie Lozada; Chris Pot­ter, 12, son of Joan and Brian Pot­ter; Am­ber Rol­leri, 14, grandaugh­ter of Clara Rol­leri; and Taliyah Iniquez, 14, daugh­ter of Daniel Mo­ran.
