The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Catskill
· DWAI-drugs: James E. Felter, 23, of Catskill, and Jackaline M. Thompson, 25, of Coxsackie, were arrested by state police at Catskill at about 2:10 and 1:55 a.m., respectively, Wednesday on West Bridge Street in the village. Felter was charged with the misdemeanors of possession of a controlled substance and driving while ability impaired by drugs. Thompson was charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and with controlled substance in non-original container, a violation. Both were released with tickets for Catskill Village Court.
Coxsackie
· Weapons/drugs: Eugene R. Vanalstyne, 26, of Malden; Staleana A. Carter, 21, of Coxsackie; and Tyler J. Weaver, 19, of Earlton, were arrested at about 3:57 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 9W by state police at Coxsackie. Vanalstyne was charged with one misdemeanor count of criminal possession of a weapon, Carter was charged with six misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and Weaver was charged with the misdemeanor of possession of more than 2 ounces of marijuana. All three were released with tickets for Coxsackie Town Court.
Gardiner
· DWI: Anthony D. Zanelli, 30, of Pine Bush, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 6:32 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Zanelli was released with a ticket for Gardiner Town Court.
Lloyd
· DWI: Max A. Carson, 24, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:53 p.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and charged with felony aggravated unlicensed driving with alcohol and with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Carson was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court. · DWI: Tyler C. Fischer, 21, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday on Chapel Hill Road and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Fischer was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Town of Ulster
· Shoplifting: Fernando Cruz, 37, of Saugerties, was arrested by Ulster police at 7:14 p.m. Monday and charged with petit larceny,
a misdemeanor. Cruz is accused of shoplifting $320.75 worth of merchandise from the Walmart store, 601 Frank Sottile Blvd. Cruz was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
· Shoplifting: Tamika L. Pascuali, 29, and Jahmal A. Lee, 27, both of Poughkeepsie, were arrested by town of Ulster police at 10:55 p.m. Monday and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Pascuali is accused of shoplifting $42.02 worth of merchandise from the Walmart store, 601 Frank Sottile Blvd., and Lee is accused of shoplifting $63.21 worth of merchandise. They were both sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.
Wawarsing
· Burglary: Tyler B. Hilsenbeck, 36, of Stone Ridge, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday at state police barracks in Wawarsing, 6721 U.S. Route 209, and charged with the felony of burglary. Hilsenbeck was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
· Assault: Reggie Davis, 39, of Manhattan, was arrested at 6:04 p.m. Tuesday by state police at Wawarsing at the Ulster Correctional Facility, 750 Berme Road, and charged with two felony counts of assault. Davis was held. Additional information was unavailable.
