The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Coxsackie
· Drugs: Raul B. Pagan, 60, of West Coxsackie, and Nannette Pagan, 52, of Coxsackie, were arrested by state police at Catskill at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday at a residence on U.S. Route 9W. They were both charged with the felonies of possession of a controlled substance (two counts each), and with the misdemeanor of criminally using drug paraphernalia (scales). The investigation included lengthy surveillance operations and took more than nine months to complete, state police said. Police recovered about 31 ounces of cocaine and $23,000. Both Raul and Nannette Pagan was sent to the Greene County Jail without bail.
Gardiner
· DWI: Anthony D. Zanelli, 30, of Pine Bush, was arrested by state police at Gardiner at 8:32 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Zanelli was released with a ticket for Gardiner Town Court.
Hurley
· Drugs: An 18-year-old male, of Port Ewen, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on state Route 28 and charged with misdemeanor possession of marijuana and with driving without or with insufficient tail lights, an infraction. He was released with a ticket for Hurley Town Court.
New Windsor
· Forcible touching/endangering: Ransford Perry, 68, of Marlboro, was arrested by state police at Montgomery at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday and charged with the misdemeanors of forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child. Police said in October 2016 Perry inappropriately touched the alleged victim, who was under the age of 17. He was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.
Town of Ulster
· DWI: Charles H. Faust, 47, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:08 p.m. Wednesday on Eastern Parkway and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving and with the infractions of stop/stand/park violation and drinking in a motor vehicle on a highway. Faust was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
