Jewett

· DWI: John Potter, 80, of Jewett, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 5:44 p.m. Monday on state Route 23A and charged with the misdemeano­rs of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Potter was released with a ticket for Jewett Town Court.

Lloyd

· Drugs/DWI: Cole D. Hastings, 34, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55 and charged with the felonies of drunken driving and drunken driving with alcohol or drugs, the misdemeano­r of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana, a violation. Hastings was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

New Baltimore

· Drugs: Heather L. Wood, 22, of Ravena, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 9:10 a.m. Monday at Dr. How’s Auto Repair, 12753 U.S. Route 9W, and charged with the felony of tampering with physical evidence by concealing or destroying it, three misdemeano­r counts of possession of a controlled substance, one misdemeano­r count of possession of a hypodermic needle and two misdemeano­r counts of use of drug parapherna­lia. Also arrested at the same time and place was McKayla L. Edgington, 19, of Delanson, who was charged with the misdemeano­rs of possession of a controlled substance, use of drug parapherna­lia (scales) and petit larceny (two counts). Edgington was released with a ticket for New Baltimore Town Court. Wood was sent to the Greene County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Red Hook

· Unlawfully dealing with a

child: Carson W. Thompson, 21, and Haley J. Baird, 26, both of Red Hook, were arrested by Red Hook police at 5:40 p.m. Saturday at the Red Hook police department and were both charged with unlawfully dealing with a child, a misdemeano­r. Police said the pair provided alcoholic beverages to a 17-year-old at their residence. They were released on tickets for Red Hook Town Court.

· DWAI-drugs: Christophe­r M. Baxter, 43, of Milan, was arrested by Red Hook police at 9 p.m. Saturday on Hannaford Drive in the town and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeano­r. The arrest followed multiple 911 calls reporting an erratic vehicle driving through the village and town. Baxter was released with a ticket for Red Hook Town Court.

Rosendale

· Drugs: William H. Williams, 58, of High Falls, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies March 29 on Lucas Avenue and charged with the misdemeano­rs of possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlicensed driving and unlicensed driving, and several traffic infraction­s. Deputies responded to assist the town of Ulster police with an assault investigat­ion. When deputies located Williams, he was found to be driving with a revoked license and in possession of amphetamin­es. Williams was released with a ticket for Rosendale Town Court.

Saugerties

· DWI: Jay S. Kravitz, 60, of All Peat Beds Road, Earlton, was arrested by Saugerties police at 4:30 p.m. Monday and charged with the misdemeano­rs of drunken driving and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Kravitz’s arrest followed a report from the School of Rock on state Route 212 of an intoxicate­d male who was allegedly harassing staff and patrons. While en route, police were told the man had left the premises. Officers found Kravitz’s vehicle and arrested him. He was released from the Ulster County Jail after posting $500 bail.

Town of Ulster

· Drugs/shopliftin­g: Kevin R. Hunter, 38, of Woodstock, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 3:41 p.m. Saturday at the Walmart store, 601 Frank Sottile Blvd., and charged with possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny, both misdemeano­rs. Hunter is accused of shopliftin­g $155.97worth of merchandis­e. He was found in possession of heroin. Hunter was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.

· Shopliftin­g: Domenick J. Rella, 34, of Saugerties, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 8:45 p.m. March 28 and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeano­r. Rella is accused of shopliftin­g $228.45 worth of merchandis­e from the Walmart store, 601 Frank Sottile Blvd. He was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.

· Shopliftin­g: Jeremy P. Archer, 63, of New York City, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 9:17 p.m. Saturday and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeano­r. Archer is accused of shopliftin­g $779.37worth of merchandis­e from the Walmart store, 601 Frank Sottile Blvd. He was released with a ticket for Ulster Town Court.
