The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
City of Kingston
• Fugitive: Ticero H. McClinton, 36, of Kingston, was arrested by Kingston police on Wednesday on a felony warrant out of Florida for sexual activity with a child. He was charged with being a fugitive from justice and was sent to Ulster County Jail without bail pending a court appearance.
• DWI: Jordan A. Schoonmaker, 25, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 4:20 a.m. Saturday and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, following a traffic stop on state Washington Avenue. He was issued a court appearance ticket.
• DWI: Ermel Hadzic, 40, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:53 a.m. Saturday and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors, along with the traffic infraction of refusing to take a Breathalyzer test following a traffic stop on Washington Avenue. He was issued tickets for Kingston City Court.
• Drugs: Richard R. Rosado, 24, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 11:37 p.m. Friday and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, following a traffic stop on South Manor Avenue. He was issued an appearance ticket for Kingston City Court.
New Paltz
• DWI: Paul J. Paris, 35, of Monticello, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:04 a.m. Saturday and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both felonies, following a traffic stop on state Route 299. He was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of bail pending a court appearance.
