David F. O’Halloran, 56, of Kerhonkson

David F. O’Halloran of Kerhonkson, N.Y., died on May 30, 2017. He was 56 years old.

Born on Jan. 14, 1961, in Hollywood, Fla., to the late Robert W. and Patricia J. (Campbell) O’Halloran.

David graduated from Coleman High School in Kingston, N.Y., in 1979. He then earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics at SUNY Albany. David was the owner and operator of Pinegrove Ranch in Kerhonkson. He had worked at the resort ranch since 1980 and became the owner in 1994. David was a longtime member of the Rondout Valley Board of Education, a former member of the Ulster County Industrial Developmen­t Agency, very active in the GOP politics in Ulster County, and as an avid fisherman he was also featured for two seasons on the National show, Shark Hunters.

David is survived by his wife, Donna (Fuccillo) O’Halloran, and their two daughters, Brittany and Dominique. Also surviving are his sister, Deborah Tarantino of Bell, Fla; and his brothers, Stephen O’Halloran and his wife Denise of Middletown, N.Y., and Scott C. O’Halloran of Statesvill­e, N.C.

Besides his parents, David was predecease­d by his brothers, Gregory J. and Robert W. Jr.; and his sister Deidre.

Visiting will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, 30 42nd Street, Kerhonkson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday the 10th at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Kerhonkson. Burial will follow in Fantinekil­l Cemetery, Ellenville.
