Patricia Madden Pick, 70, of Jupiter, Fla.
Patricia Madden Pick, 70, passed away on June 9, 2017, at the Hospice at Jupiter Medical Center, and is at peace after a four-and-a-half-year struggle with ovarian cancer.
Formerly of Kingston, N.Y., and Smithtown, N.Y., and for the past 23 years Jupiter, Fla., Patty was devoted to raising a family and community service.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Pick; her two children and their spouses, William Thomas, Krista (Jason) Leone; her two stepchildren and spouses, Leslie (Michael) Moore, Christopher (Colleen) Pick; nine grandchildren; her brother, Thomas Madden Jr.; her sister-inlaw, Cecilia Madden; and two nieces. She was predeceased by her parents, Lee J. Madden and Thomas J. Madden, and her brother, William D. Madden.
Patty served on the Kingston School Board for several years. In Smithtown, she coupled a career in real estate and insurance with volunteer work in the Society for Lending Comforts to the Sick. Retired in Jupiter, Patty has been a guiding force at the Jupiter Medical Center Auxiliary Thrift Shop, putting in over 10,000 hours during these 23 years.
There will be a Memorial Mass for Patricia at St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta, Fla., at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
