Patricia Madden Pick, 70, of Jupiter, Fla.

Patricia Madden Pick, 70, passed away on June 9, 2017, at the Hospice at Jupiter Medical Center, and is at peace after a four-and-a-half-year struggle with ovarian cancer.

Formerly of Kingston, N.Y., and Smithtown, N.Y., and for the past 23 years Jupiter, Fla., Patty was devoted to raising a family and community service.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Pick; her two children and their spouses, William Thomas, Krista (Jason) Leone; her two stepchildr­en and spouses, Leslie (Michael) Moore, Christophe­r (Colleen) Pick; nine grandchild­ren; her brother, Thomas Madden Jr.; her sister-inlaw, Cecilia Madden; and two nieces. She was predecease­d by her parents, Lee J. Madden and Thomas J. Madden, and her brother, William D. Madden.

Patty served on the Kingston School Board for several years. In Smithtown, she coupled a career in real estate and insurance with volunteer work in the Society for Lending Comforts to the Sick. Retired in Jupiter, Patty has been a guiding force at the Jupiter Medical Center Auxiliary Thrift Shop, putting in over 10,000 hours during these 23 years.

There will be a Memorial Mass for Patricia at St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta, Fla., at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
