Sandra Quick-Boyce, 59, of Kingston

-

Sandra Quick-Boyce, 59, a lifelong resident of Kingston, died suddenly on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at her home.

Born in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Hildegarde Taubman Carelton. Sandy worked as a dietary aide at Kingston Hospital for over 20 years. She enjoyed the beach and music concerts, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with people, especially her friends and family. Sandra’s greatest attribute was the love and care that she showed to her children and grandsons. Her kindness didn’t stop there, but was extended to anyone she met. She loved unconditionally.

Sandy is survived by her two children, Melanie Quick of California and Ernie J. Quick and his wife Stephanie of Saugerties; and a brother, James Carleton and his wife Cheri of Michigan. Three grandsons, Andrew, Aaron and Caleb, and one niece, Megan, also survive.

Sandy will be reposing at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., on Monday, July 17, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Andy McCutcheon from Wesley Community Church in Shokan officiating.

Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105.
