Loiacono's earns B win over Sawyer Motors

Mike Amodio hit the game winning homer and also tripled as Loiacono’s slipped past Sawyer Motors 14-13 in a recent Saugerties Athletic Association mens softball B Division contest.

Tanner Cornachini hit two doubles and knocked in four runs, Aaron Caskey doubled and singled, and Darren Lareau, Matt Donnelly and Adam Pitcher each smacked two singles to lead Loiacanos.

Paddy Defino hit a home run, Jason Brott beleted three singles, Roger Norcross doubled, singled and knocked in two runs and Ray Tucker tacked on two singles to pace Sawyer Motors in the loss.

Shanke Banks hit a double to lead Go Green Property over Exchange Nacarrato 9-7 in an A division game.

Joe Maloney and Anthony Bowens each hit two singles to lead Go Green in the win.

Dan Koegel homered and knocked in two runs and Mike Pugliese hit a triple to pace Exchange/ Naccarato in the loss.

In C Division action Dan Murphy hit a home run a doubled and two singles to lead Mirabella’s Sports Bar to a 13-10 win over Sue’s Restaurant /Rips Auto Parts.

Mike Stinson and Dan Sullivan each hit two doubles and had two RBI while Joe Zymiarch belted a double to lead Mirabella’s.

Greg Jones homered, singled and knocked in five runs and Marc Whitaker hit a homer run, a double and had two RBI to carry Sue’s in the loss.
