Demarest received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering technology. Paton received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering technology. Rigaud received a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering. Landolfa received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. Lin received a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design.

Nicholas Jeffrey Brandt, the grandson of Saugerties residents, graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., on May 24, with a bachelor of science degree in systems engineering — human factors.
He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air Force by his father, Jeffrey Robert Brandt, a retired U.S. Coast Guard commander.
During his four years at the academy, Brandt was named to the dean’s list for seven semesters out of eight. He was also named to the commandant’s list, recognizing his military performance as an element leader, flight commander and executive officer.
He was a four-year member of the men’s volleyball team, where he served as a captain and cadet-in-charge in his senior year, leading the team to top 10 national rankings throughout. In addition, he served as an instructor pilot for the academy’s soaring program, in which he instructed other cadets in glider flight, including acrobatic maneuvers, and served as a flight commander and superintendent. He also earned jump wings during his senior year, completing a three-week program that included five solo free fall jumps.
Brandt is scheduled to report this month to Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas, for pilot training.
He is the son of Jeffrey R. and Lori Brandt of Hagerstown, Md., and the grandson of Robert and June Brandt of Saugerties.
••• Christopher Broskie of Denver, Colo., the son of Lake Katrine residents, graduated from Metropolitan State University at Denver, with a bachelor of arts degree in recreation professions.
He is the son of Tara and Steve Broskie of Lake Katrine.
