Frances W. Rall, 90, of Red Hook, N.Y., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck.

Born on Oct. 15, 1926, in Cottekill, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Everett and Nellie (Connor) Barringer. Frances married J. Leonard Rall on Nov. 18, 1956, at Cottekill Reformed Church, and he predecease­d her on Jan. 3, 1986.

For over 35 years and until her retirement, Frances was a kindergart­en teacher with the Red Hook Central Schools.

Frances was a former member of St. John’s Reformed Church in Upper Red Hook.

She is survived by her sister, Edna Martinez of Woodbourne, N.Y.; her two sisters-in-law, Amelia Barringer of Tivoli, N.Y., and Eva Barringer of Tillson, N.Y.; her nieces, Laurie Tozzi of Tillson, N.Y., Lesley Clemons of Queensbury, N.Y., Deborah Benjamin of Monticello, N.Y., and Mary Callahan of Tivoli, N.Y.; along with several great and greatgreat-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was predecease­d by her brothers, Richard Barringer and Leslie Barringer, and a nephew, William Barringer.

Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes, Red Hook, on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, at Burnett & White Funeral Homes, Red Hook. The Rev. Eric Titus will officiate. Burial will be at St. John’s Reformed Church Cemetery, Red Hook.

Memorial donations may be made in Frances’s memory to St. John’s Reformed Church, 126 Old Post Road North, Red Hook, N.Y. 12571.
