City of Kingston
• Resisting arrest/drugs: Charles E. Johnson, 46, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 6:11 p.m. Saturday on Cedar Street on charges of resisting arrest and criminal possession of controlled substance, both misdemeanors, and appearing in public under the influence of narcotics or drugs, a violation. Johnson was released with a ticket for Kingston City Court.
• DWI: Matthew J. Smith, 27, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster on Broadway at 2:14 a.m. Saturday on charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. He was also issued a speeding ticket. Smith was released to a third party pending a court appearance.
Coxsackie
• Drugs: Elishia E. LazoreKing, 27, of Hogansburg, was arrested at 9:34 a.m. Saturday on Plank Road on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. She was released pending a court appearance.
Hunter
• DWI: Lara Bowen-Dowe, 48, of Newburgh, was arrested by state police at Catskill on county Route 25 at 10 p.m. Saturday on charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Bowen-Dowe was released with an appearance ticket for Hunter Town Court.
Lloyd
• Drugs: Alyssa Jaccino, 20, of Poughquag, was arrested by state police at Highland at 9:20 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55 on the Mid-Hudson Bridge and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and with unlawful marijuana possession, a violation. Jaccino was released with an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Shawangunk
• Contraband/drugs: Samantha Camacho, 27, of the Bronx, was arrested by state police at Highland at 2:42 p.m. Saturday on South McKendrick Road on charges of possession of prison contraband, a felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor. Further information was unavailable.
• Introducing contraband into prison: Diemalee Contreras, 36, of the Bronx, was arrested by state police at Gardiner at 2:42 p.m. Saturday at 50 McKendrick Road on misdemeanor charges of introducing contraband into prison and reckless endangerment, and the violation of violating state sanitary code. Contreras was released with tickets for Shawangunk Town Court.
Town of Ulster
• DWI: Keith W. Shannon, 28, of Manhasset, was arrested by Thruway State police at 11:15 p.m. Friday on the New York state Thruway at milepost 96.1 north on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Shannon was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
