The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Athens
· DWI: Kathleen A. Anderson, 42, of Athens, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on U.S. Route 9W in Athens at 10:18 p.m. Sunday and charged with the misdemeanors of drunken driving and driving while intoxicated by alcohol or drugs and with the infractions of no inspection sticker and failing to keep right. Anderson was released with a ticket for Athens Town Court.
Cairo
· Aggravated unlicensed
driving: Cory G. Cramer, 19, of Stottville, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 8:12 p.m. Sunday on state Route 32 in Cairo and charged with aggravated unlicensed driving, a felony. Cramer’s status was unavailable.
Hyde Park
· Burglary/possession of
stolen property: John E. Dekoskie, 53, of Poughkeepsie, and Caitlin S. Decasare, 20, of Hyde Park, were arrested by Hyde Park police on Sunday in connection with multiple commercial break-ins over the past few weeks in the town. At about 4:30 a.m. Sunday, police received reports of a commercial burglar alarm activation at the Dollar General at 1049 Violet Ave. Police arrived to find the perpetrators had fled the scene. Dutchess County Sheriff’s deputies and town of Poughkeepsie police assisted and Dekoskie and Decesare, a passenger in his care, were arrested. Dekoskie was charged with the felony of burglary. Decesare was charged with misdemeanor possession of stolen property. Dekoskie was sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail. Decesare was sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.
Catskill
· Shoplifting: Jessica Coon, 34, of Catskill, was arrested by Catskill police at 8:32 p.m. Friday at the Walmart store, 30 Catskill Commons, and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor. Coon was released with a ticket for Catskill Town Court.
· DWI: Kenneth J. Gorman, 33, of Hudson, was arrested by Catskill police at 3:37 a.m. Saturday on Water Street and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.18 percent and drunken driving. Gorman was released with a ticket for Catskill Village Court.
