Cairo • DWI:
Daniel A. Cogswell, 36, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Catskill on state Route 32 at 9:27 p.m. Saturday on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Cogswell was released with tickets for Cairo Town Court.
• DWI: Robert G. Dobert, 51, of Livingston, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie on state Route 145 at 2:47 a.m. Sunday on a felony charge of aggravated drunken driving with child and misdemeanor charges of drunken driving, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent and endangering the welfare of a child. Dobert was released with a ticket for Cairo Town Court.
Catskill • DWI:
Timothy M. Macconnoran, 30, of Woodside, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 12:45 a.m. Sunday on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and drunken driving-alcohol or drugs. Macconnoran was released with tickets for Catskill Town Court.
Coxsackie • DWI:
Danielle Szajer, 26, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Catskill on U. S. Route 9W at 3:47 a.m. Sunday on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and drunken driving-alcohol or drugs. Szajer was released with tickets for Coxsackie Town Court.
Germantown • Sex offense:
Keith E. Pierson, 23, of Germantown, was arrested by state police at Claverack at 11:30 a.m. Saturday on a charges of sex abuse (victim under 13), a felony, and acting in a manner to injure a child under 17, a misdemeanor. Further information was unavailable.
New Paltz • DWI:
Christen M. Decker, 22, of Pine Bush, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 4:15 a.m. Sunday on state Route 299 at Albany Post Road on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, and the violation of unlawful marijuana possession. Decker was released with tickets for New Paltz Town Court.
Rosendale • DWI:
An 18-year- old Hillsdale, New Jersey, man was arrested by Thruway state police Saturday at 6:39 a.m. on the New York state Thruway at milepost 84.3 southbound on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent and criminal possession of marijuana exceeding 25 grams. He was held at the Ulster County Jail on $7,500 bail. Police did not release the man’s name.
Woodstock • DWI:
Mark Hempel, 58, of Marblehead, Massachusetts, was arrested by state police at Kingston at 10:36 p.m. Saturday on state Route 212 on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Hempel was also issued a traffic ticket for moving from lane unsafely. Hempel was released with a ticket for Woodstock Town Court.
