Bethlehem
• DWI: Brandon W. Piegari, 30, of New Paltz, was arrested by Thruway state police at 7:22 a.m. Saturday on the New York state Thruway on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. He was also issues a traffic ticket for drinking alcohol in a motor vehicle on a highway. Piegari was released with a ticket for Bethlehem Town Court.
Greenville • Contempt: Ramson G.
Wycoff, 35, of Freehold, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 2:15 p.m. Saturday on misdemeanor charges of criminal contempt (disobeying a court order). Further information was unavailable.
Marlborough
• Drugs: Richard L. Bonds, 27, of Newburgh, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:40 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Route 9W and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. • DWI/Drugs: Andrew Wilson 26, of Lake Placid, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 1:18 a.m. Sunday on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent and criminal possession of a controlled substance. Wilson was released with tickets for Rhinebeck Town Court.
Town of Rochester
• DWI: Michael J. Ortiz, 32, of Wurtsboro, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 5;26 a.m. Sunday on Lower Granite Road and was charged with drunken driving (previous conviction in 10 years), a felony. Ortiz was also issued a traffic ticket for failure to keep to the right on a two-lane road. Further information was unavailable.
Shawangunk
• Contraband: Allison R. Riggi, 44, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Gardiner at 1:15 p.m. Saturday at the Shawangunk Correctional Facility at 700 Quick Road on a misdemeanor charge of introducing contraband into prison. Riggi was released with a ticket for Shawangunk Town Court.
Wawarsing
• DWI: Tibor I. South, 40, of Napanoch, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 8:18 p.m. Saturday on state Route 55 on a misdemeanor drunken driving charge. South was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
