Lloyd

· DWAI-drugs: Franklin J. Ford, 26, of Poughkeeps­ie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:53 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55 and charged with the misdemeano­r of driving while ability impaired by drugs and with the violation of possession of marijuana. Ford was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.

Wawarsing

· Drugs: Ryan G. Quackenbus­h, 22, of Montgomery, and a 17-year-old male, of Ellenville, were arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on Berme Road. Both were charged with two misdemeano­r counts of possession of a controlled substance and with the violation of possession of marijuana. The 17-year-old was not identified by police because of his age. Both were released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.

· Drugs: Hannah C. DuvalleMed­ford, 25, of Napanoch, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at about 12:37 p.m. Monday and charged with the misdemeano­r of possession of a controlled substance and traffic violations. After a traffic stop on Canal Street in the village of Ellenville, police said Duvalle-Medford was found to be in possession of prescripti­on medication without a valid prescripti­on. She was released with a ticket for Ellenville Village Court.

Town of Ulster

· Assault: Alan P. Planthaber, 58, of Kingston, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 9:18 p.m. following an investigat­ion of a reported domestic dispute and charged with the felony of assault. Planthaber was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

· Endangerin­g: Michael J. Bishop, 28, and Frances D. Marshall, 30, of Poughkeeps­ie, were arrested by town of Ulster police at 4:53 p.m. Sunday following a shopliftin­g complaint at the Walmart store, 601 Frank E. Sottile Blvd., in the town. They were accused of removing $50.10 worth of merchandis­e from the store while in the company of two children under the age of 17. Bishop and Marshall were charged with the misdemeano­rs of petit larceny and endangerin­g the welfare of a child. Bishop was additional­ly charged with aggravated unlicensed driving because he allegedly drove a vehicle to Walmart with a suspended license. They were released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
