The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Lloyd
· DWAI-drugs: Franklin J. Ford, 26, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:53 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55 and charged with the misdemeanor of driving while ability impaired by drugs and with the violation of possession of marijuana. Ford was released with a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Wawarsing
· Drugs: Ryan G. Quackenbush, 22, of Montgomery, and a 17-year-old male, of Ellenville, were arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on Berme Road. Both were charged with two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and with the violation of possession of marijuana. The 17-year-old was not identified by police because of his age. Both were released with tickets for Wawarsing Town Court.
· Drugs: Hannah C. DuvalleMedford, 25, of Napanoch, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at about 12:37 p.m. Monday and charged with the misdemeanor of possession of a controlled substance and traffic violations. After a traffic stop on Canal Street in the village of Ellenville, police said Duvalle-Medford was found to be in possession of prescription medication without a valid prescription. She was released with a ticket for Ellenville Village Court.
Town of Ulster
· Assault: Alan P. Planthaber, 58, of Kingston, was arrested by town of Ulster police at 9:18 p.m. following an investigation of a reported domestic dispute and charged with the felony of assault. Planthaber was sent to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
· Endangering: Michael J. Bishop, 28, and Frances D. Marshall, 30, of Poughkeepsie, were arrested by town of Ulster police at 4:53 p.m. Sunday following a shoplifting complaint at the Walmart store, 601 Frank E. Sottile Blvd., in the town. They were accused of removing $50.10 worth of merchandise from the store while in the company of two children under the age of 17. Bishop and Marshall were charged with the misdemeanors of petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. Bishop was additionally charged with aggravated unlicensed driving because he allegedly drove a vehicle to Walmart with a suspended license. They were released with tickets for Ulster Town Court.
