Elizabeth Bernice Sattler, 92, of Walden

WALDEN, N.Y. » Elizabeth Bernice Sattler of Walden, N.Y., a lifelong resident of the area died Jan. 2, 2018, at home. She was 92.

The daughter of the late David and Susan Morrison, she was born Aug. 20, 1925 in Cornwall.

She was a member of Most Precious Blood Church in Walden.

She was the widow of Robert Sattler.

Survivors include her daughter, Elaine SattlerGaynor of Pine Bush, N.Y.; daughter, Elizabeth “Bea” Sattler of Pine Bush, N.Y.; daughter, Mary F. Sattler at home; son, Robert Sattler and his wife Veronica of Montgomery, N.Y.; son, Peter Joseph Sattler and his wife Phyllis of Bedford Hills, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Judith Ann Caffrey (Sean), Maryann Shaw(Warren), Robert Sattler III (Jamie), Stacey Lowenwirth (Dennis), Melinda Sattler; two greatgrandchildren, Nicholas Jefferson and Henry Shaw; and several nephews.

She was predeceased by her sonin-law, Robert Gaynor.

Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St. Walden, N.Y.

A funeral mass will be Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, 11 a.m. at the Church of the Most Precious Blood, Walnut St., Walden, N.Y.

Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, N.Y.

In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, Tenn., 38105-9959.
