Wallkill finishes regular season with pair of wins

Wallkill High closed out a 6-3 regular season in Section 9 gymnastics with a pair of wins Monday.

The Panthers scored 150.35 to easily defeat Kingston (96.4) and New Paltz (7.195).

Emma and Miah Frisbie led Wallkill. Emma won the floor exercise (9.35) and was second on the balance beam, fourth on both the vault and uneven bars and third all-around. Miah was second on the vault, bars, floor and all-around, plus fifth on the beam.

Abigail Nolan of Onteora dominated the meet. She won the vault (8.5), bars (7.75), took second on the beam and floor and was also first (33.85) allaround. Highland’s Valerie Precour won the beam with an 8.65.
