Athens
· Drugs: Leo Herring, 40, of Athens, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 10:43 p.m. Friday on Schoharie Turnpike and charged with two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and with the violation of possession of marijuana. Herring was released with appearance tickets for Athens Town Court.
Bethlehem
· DWI: Kelly J. Speenburgh, 30, of Catskill, was arrested by state police at Albany at 1:22 a.m. Saturday on the New York State Thruway and charged with the felonies of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving and with the infractions of no inspection sticker and moving from lane unsafely. Speenburgh was released with appearance tickets for Bethlehem Town Court.
Coxsackie
· DWI: Joseph P. Kinane, 21, of Stottville, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 3:50 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of U.S. Route 9W and Houghtaling Road in the town and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Kinane was released with appearance tickets for Coxsackie Town Court.
Hunter
· DWI: Andrew C. Knowles, 32, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Hunter on Platte Clove Road at 2:53 a.m. Saturday and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving, and with the infraction of inadequate muffler. Knowles was released with an appearance ticket for Hunter Town Court.
New Paltz
· DWI: Kerri D. Hudson, 50, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Highland at 1:50 a.m. Saturday on North Chestnut Street in the town and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Hudson was released with appearance tickets for New Paltz Court.
· DWI: Laura A. Woods, 20, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Highland at 3:02 a.m. Saturday on state Route 32 in town and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Woods was released with appearance tickets for New Paltz Court.
· DWI: Kevin Jimenez, 25, of Middletown, was arrested by state police at Albany at 3:05 a.m. Saturday on the New York State Thruway in the town and charged with the misdemeanors of driving with a blood-alcohol level exceeding 0.08 percent and drunken driving. Jimenez was released with appearance tickets for New Paltz Court.
Saugerties
· DWI: Colett L. Spain, 32, of 130Meadow Lane, Cairo, was arrested by Saugerties police at 1:19a.m. Saturday on Clark Van Vlierden Road in the town and charged with misdemeanor drunken driving and the violation of possession of marijuana. Authorities said Spain was arrested after police responded to a car crash in which she failed to maintain her lane and veered off the roadway into a guardrail and then into a tree. Spain, who had a blood-alcohol content of 0.16, twice the legal limit of 0.08, was not injured, according to authorities. She was released with appearance tickets for Saugerties Town Court.
· DWI: Charlene P. Mosley, 58, of 9Bostan Road, Floor 2, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police at 12:22a.m. Saturday at the Speedway gas station on state Route 212in the town and charged with the misdemeanor of drunken driving and the infraction of failing to use headlights. Mosley was released with appearance tickets for Saugerties Town Court.
