ALBANY, N.Y. » Veronica “Ronnie” A. Sgroi, 87, suddenly entered Eternal life Monday, March 26, 2018, at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late William and Veronica (Fox) Keenan. Ronnie was manager of Tour Mates Travel Agency in Kingston, a business she and her husband owned for 30 years. She was a Communican­t of St. Joseph’s Church in Kingston and, most recently, Our Lady of the Assumption in Latham.

She was predecease­d by her beloved husband, Salvatore Sgroi, and her siblings, William Keenan, Bette Kindlon, and Joan Flynn.

She is survived by her loving children, Kathleen Magid, Robert (Wynitia) Sgroi, Michele (Anthony) DiPiazza, Salvatore (Denise) Sgroi, Rosemary (Jeffrey) Levy, Patricia (Dominick) Trimarchi, William (Carol) Sgroi, Mary Jo (Leonard) Mazur, and Laurie (Kevin) Maxwell; also survived by 25 grandchild­ren, seven greatgrand­children, and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Monday, April 2, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 9 a.m. from the funeral home, thence to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 498 Watervliet-Shaker Road, Latham, where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow the Mass in the Mausoleum of St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
