The following items are based on information provided by officials in law enforcement and the criminal justice system.
Ellenville
• Parole violation, jay walking, marijuana: Magnificent M. Brown, 20, of Ellenville, was arrested by Ulster County Sheriff’s deputies at 11:16 a.m. March 31 and was charged with a parole violation, and the violations of jay walking and unlawful possession of marijuana. According to authorities, deputies stopped Brown for jaywalking and found him with BB gun and shotgun ammunition. As a convicted felon, Brown is prohibited from possessing ammunition. He was taken to the Ulster County Jail pending further proceedings with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision.
Lloyd • Drugs: Jeffrey Dawson,
23, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Highland on U.S. Route 44/ state Route 55 at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday and was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor. He was issued an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
• Burglary: Selena V. Levy, 22, of Lagrangeville, was arrested by state police at Highland at 4:15 a.m. Tuesday at 216 state Route 299 and was charged with burglary, a felony. She was sent to the Ulster County Jail pending a court appearance.
• DWI: Amanda S. Lipstein, 26, of Newburgh, was arrested by Lloyd town police on March 30 and was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 44/state Route 55. She was arraigned and released pending an appearance in Lloyd Town Court.
• DWI: William H. Koch, 55, of Hyde Park, was arrested by Lloyd town police on March 29 and was charged with misdemeanor drunken driving following a traffic stop on U.S. Route 9W. He was issued a ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
• DWI: Babatunde I. Dawodu, 31, of Wappingers Falls, was arrested by Lloyd town police Sunday and was charged with drunken driving following a traffic stop on state Route 299. He was issued tickets for Lloyd Town
Court.
• Weapons, drugs: Matthew M. McCarthy, 34, of Plattekill, was arrested by Ulster County sheriff’s deputies at 5 p.m. March 28 and was charged with possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance, both misdemeanors, along with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, following a traffic stop on Hurds Road. Deputies said they found McCarthy with a dagger, concentrated cannabis and marijuana. He was issued an appearance ticket for Lloyd Town Court.
Town of Rochester
• Bail jumping: Brian J. Padusnak, 33, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 30 Thornwood Lane at 6:50 p.m. Sunday and was charged with bail jumping, a misdemeanor. He was held pending a court appearance.
