City of Kingston

• Drugs: Isaiah M. Meeks, 21, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 10:35 p.m. Tuesday on Fair Street at Maiden Lane and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of more than 2 ounces of marijuana, both misdemeano­rs, and with possession of marijuana, a violation. Meeks was released with tickets for Kingston City Court.

Town of Florida

• Stolen property: David S. Hughes, 24, of Coxsackie, was arrested by state police on Tuesday and was charged with possession of stolen property (credit card). Hughes’ arrest followed a report from the Pattersonv­ille Service Area on Interstate 90 in the town of Florida at about 3:37 a.m. March 10 of a stolen credit card being used to purchase items. He was sent to the Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.

Lloyd

• Drugs: Lauchland T. Watkins, 45, of Highland, was arrested by state police at Highland at 11:15 p.m. Tuesday at 2 Haviland Road and was charged with possession of more than 2 ounces of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed driving (with more than three suspension­s), both misdemeano­rs. Watkins was released with appearance tickets for Lloyd Town Court.

Saugerties

• Shopliftin­g/failure to

pay child support: Laura Barclay, 40, of 519 state Route 212, Saugerties, was arrested by Saugerties police Tuesday and was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeano­r. Barclay is accused of leaving the Price Chopper supermarke­t on state Route 212 without paying for groceries. A file check found she was wanted on a warrant issued in Dutchess County for failure to pay child support. Barclay was turned over to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Wawarsing

• Shopliftin­g: Melissa G. Gabriel, 39, of Bloomingbu­rg, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Walmart store, 7500 U.S. Route 209, and was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeano­r. Gabriel was released with a ticket for Wawarsing Town Court.
