Brady’s Bunch, Dawn’s Balls win RGS titles
Brady’s Bunch and Dawn’s Balls won the scratch and handicap titles, respectively, in the 12th annual RGS Tournament at the Saugerties Bowlers Club.
Dawn’s Balls pocketed the $1200 first prize, edging Boice’s Farms 36443614.
Randy Overbaugh, Bernie Edwards, Matt Overbaugh, James Casucci and Dawn Russell comprised the winning team. Pete Cotich, George Boice, Brian Stopczyki, Pl Sullivan and Kirk Peters made up the Boice’s Farms tea .
Third place and $300 went to the Sawkill Fire Department squad of Erik Snyder, Ryan Clare, Chris Snyder, Bill Snyder and Erica Snyder. The $200 fourth-place prize went to the Chorney 5. Brendon Chorney, who had a perfect 300 game in the event, led the team which also included Dave Handlowich, Frank Heiser, Jason Minn and Devon Chorney. Fifth place, for $150, went to Manorville Mill Except Mayr.
Brady’s Bunch, which included Chris Alberts, Jared Mayur, Julie Brady, Matt Kordich and Jason Minn won $250 with their scratch championship.
George Johnson Jr. rolled a 299 game in the event.
