Doris K. Langling, 90, of West Hurley, N.Y., passed peacefully on Monday evening, April 9, 2018, at the Thompson House in Rhinebeck, N.Y., surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Jan. 28, 1928 in Newark, N.J., and was the daughter of the late Hjalmar and Katharine Liden.

Doris was a graduate of Kingston High School, class of 1945, and was the wife of the late Robert Langling, he passed April 1, 1996.

She had been the secretary to the principal at Onteora High School for 25 years until her retirement. Doris was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church, served on the Altar Guild and was a member of WELCA. She enjoyed history reading and ongoing education with her peers at the Woodstock Jewish Center.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Margaret Stover and her husband Edward of Wilton, N.Y., Beth Santonja and her husband Vincent of Red Hook, N.Y.; sons, Robert M. Langling of Woodstock, N.Y., and his wife, the late Sharon Langling, and John S. Langling of Hurley, N.Y., and his wife, the late Victoria Langling; six grandsons, three granddaugh­ters, and nine great-grandchild­ren. Entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, the family will receive their friends on Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 4 to 7 p.m. The service of Christian Burial will be on Friday, April 13, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church at 10:30 a.m. Burial in Montrepose Cemetery.
