Rosemary Fudge, of Phoenicia, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018, surrounded by her loving family, at Kingston Hospital.

She was born in 1941 in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late John and Rose Petraglia Cartino. Rosemary was a loving and caring person who had worked for Bell Atlantic Telephone Co., Home Health Aides, a volunteer at Family of Woodstock, a homemaker, a dedicated wife, mother, grandmothe­r, and greatgrand­mother. She loved reading, playing cards and board games, and spending time with her granddaugh­ter Nicole and greatgrand­children, Esynce, Scarlet, and Serenity. She was a positive role model in their lives, as well as anyone else that Rosemary met along life’s journey. Rosemary was always loved, respected, and had such a beautiful heart full of giving and caring.

Surviving are her beloved husband, Ernest W. Fudge; three children: Ernest, Catherine, and John; three grandchild­ren: Nicole, Anthony, and Natasha; and three great-grandchild­ren, Esynce, Scarlet, and Serenity.

She was predecease­d by her siblings, Mary, Mildred, Carol, and Emilio Cartino.

Her funeral procession will form on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at E.B. Gormley Funeral Home, 87 Main St., Phoenicia; thence to St. Francis de Sales Church, where at 10 a.m., a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Private burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Pinelawn, N.Y. Friends will be received on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at E.B. Gormley Funeral Home.
