Kingston nets tight victory over Warwick

KINGSTON, N.Y. » Kingston High tripped Warwick 10-9 in a tight Orange County Interschol­astic Athletic Associatio­n girls lacrosse match at Dietz Stadium Wednesday night.

Grace Gavis had four goals and an assist, Juliane Sickler had a hat trick, Kate Lord added a goal and one assist and Norah Prizzi and Rosella Nardi also scored for the Tigers.

Kingston goalkeeper Grace Perry stopped a dozen shots to earn the win. Red Hook 11, Saugerties 9

At Saugerties, Syr Esposito scored four goals, as the (1-1) Raiders handed the (3-1) Sawyers their first loss.

Bailey Jordan had three goals and one assist, while Stasia Giannoulis added a pair of goals — her first varsity goals — in the win. Julia Bemis and Hannah Campagna had a goal each, while Decourcey Gardner made six saves for Red Hook.

Deeva Kuriplach scored five goals, while Hannah Munoz added two goals for Saugerties. Eva Vazquez and Annika Fisher rounded the scoring, while Libby Baldwin and Nicole Klein added assists in the loss. Brynn Fisher, meanwhile, stopped 12 shots. Millbrook 7, Highland 6

At Millbrook, Kaitlyn Daly had four goals and an assist, as the unbeaten (30) Blazers handed the (2-1) Huskies their first loss.

Brooke Babbitt, Isa Rosenzweig and Stephanie Williams rounded the scoring, with Taylor Redl adding an assist in the win. Claire Martell, meanwhile, made six saves.

Eliz Fino scored four goals, while Nicole Lapoce added two goals in the loss for Highland. Tesheca McGhie had 14 saves. Goshen 14, New Paltz 2

At New Paltz, Maggie Calzaretta scored four goals, while Brenna Politoski and Skyler Stiskin added two goals each to lead the Gladiators.

Erin Metzger and Danielle Takas scored goals, while Hannah Goichman made 11 saves in the loss for New Paltz.
