David P. Duffy, 71, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.

COCOA BEACH, FLA. » David P. Duffy, 71, of Cocoa Beach, Florida, formerly of Kingston, N.Y., went to be with our Lord, his beloved mother, two sisters, nephew, and father, on April 22, 2018, at home with his wife, Martha and stepson, Chris by his side, after a more than two year courageous battle with Metastatic Prostate Cancer. Dave was born in Kingston on Sept. 5, 1946, to Ruth Rowe Duffy Nielsen and John Duffy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jacquelyn Hines (Thomas), and Sheila Constable, and nephew, Sean Constable. Dave is survived by his wife of 30 years, Martha; a daughter, Megan Cohea of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; son, Ryan Duffy (Brandi) of Huron, Ohio; his stepson, Chris Bart; two grandsons, Patrick Cohea and Ayden Duffy; three granddaugh­ters, Rylee, Katelyn, and Greysen Duffy; and two brothers, Michael J. Duffy of Hurley, N.Y., and Robert J. Duffy of Kingston, N.Y. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephew; three aunts and many cousins.

Dave attended Kingston schools and UCCC and was a member of Local 155, IUPAT. If he could leave one final message to all of you reading this, it would be to please get a PSA test in a timely manner, as it will save your life. He would also thank you for the support you gave his loyal wife, Martha.
