Cairo

• DWI: William E. Casivant, 20, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 4:20 a.m. Sunday at 7555 state Route 32 on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Casivant was released with an appearance ticket for Cairo Town Court.

Catskill

• Forged Instrument/ DWI: Jeyson A Perez Cruz, 22, of South Cairo, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 5:17 a.m. Sunday on state Route 23 at Cauterskill Road on charges of possession of a forged instrument, a felony, and drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, both misdemeanors. Perez Cruz was held pending arraignment.

• DWI: James A Borey-Gagnon, 28, of Saugerties, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 1:46 a.m. Sunday on state Route 32 on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Borey-Gagnon was released with an appearance ticket for Catskill Town Court.

Esopus

• Forcible touching: Edgar D. Melendez-Acevedo, 46, of Kingston, was arrested by state police at Highland at 8 p.m. Saturday at 1063 U.S. Route 9W on misdemeanor charges of forcible touching and petit larceny. Melendez-Acevedo was released with an appearance ticket for Esopus Town Court.

Greenville

• DWI: Amy E. Schaut, 36, of New York state, was arrested by state police at Coxsackie at 1:30 a.m. Sunday on county Route 26 on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Schaut was released with appearance tickets for Coxsackie Town Court.

Town of Kingston

• Drugs/DWI: Joshua N. Wenzel, 21, of Port Ewen, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 9:47 p.m. Saturday on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), a felony, and having an imitation controlled

substance, drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent, all misdemeanors. He was also issued a traffic for an unsafe turn (failing to signal). Further information was unavailable.

Town of Rochester

• DWI: Melissa A. Godwin, 37, of Accord, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:45 p.m. Saturday on Sundale Road on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Godwin was also issued a traffic ticket for failure to keep right on a two-lane road. Further information was unavailable.

Town of Ulster • DWI: Jamie Block, 43, of New Windsor, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 3:05 a.m. Sunday on state Route 28 on misdemeanor charges of drunken driving and operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content exceeding 0.08 percent. Block was also issued traffic tickets for failure to keep right on a two-lane road and illegal signal (less than 100 feet). • DWI: Brenton O. Bramble, 23, of Hudson, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 1:24 a.m. Sunday on a misdemeanor charge of drunken driving. He was also issued a traffic ticket for a stop, stand, or park violation on a highway. Bramble was released with an appearance ticket for Ulster Town Court.
