‘Honky Tonk Laundry’ opens July 13 at Shadowland WHAT: Play, “Honky Tonk Laundry” WHEN: July 13 through Aug. 5, with performances Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. (Special 2 p.m. performance on July 14.)

WHERE: Shadowland Stages, 157 Canal St., Ellenville DETAILS: Take a ride to Nashville heaven! Two country angels join forces to turn their good ol’ laundromat into a bootscootin’ honky–tonk, featuring the great music of Carrie Underwood, Patsy Cline, Trisha Yearwood, Loretta Lynn, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Dixie Chicks, Dolly Parton, Tammy Wynette and others. Starring are Kim Rachelle Harris at Lana Mae, Danielle Erin Rhodes as Kate Lane Murphy and a live band. Tickets are $39 for evening performances and $34 for matinee performances. Admission for people under 40 is $29 with a valid ID and $15 for students with a current school ID. Admission for preview performances on July 13 at 8 p.m. and July 14 at 2 p.m. is $31 or pay what you can. Library will show ‘A Wrinkle in Time’

WHAT: Screening of “A Wrinkle in Time” WHEN: July 13 from 5:3o to 7 p.m. WHERE: East Room of Tivoli Free Library, 86 Broadway, Tivoli

DETAILS: The library will host a screening of “A Wrinkle in Time.” Starring Storm Reid, Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling, the film tells the story of how, after the disappearance of her scientist father, Meg, her brother and her friend are sent into space by three peculiar beings in order to find him.
