18U Fillies win Tradition crown

The Kingston American Legion Post 150 18U Ulster Fillies took the 18U Gold crown, going undefeated at the Tradition College Showcase

The Fillies banged out 18 hits to down the RI Fire and Ice 9-3 in the championship contest.

Kacie Allison got the win and the Fillies offense was led by Alyssa Finno (two doubles, two singles), Jess Chilcott (four singles, three RBI), Alex McKearin (double, single, two RBI), Shannon Bonewit (double, single two RBI) and Meghan Peace (two Doubles)

In the semifinals, Tori Decker through a complete game in a 6-3 win over the CT Seahawks.

Kailey Collins (two singles, two RBI), Chilcot (triple, single), Shannon Bonewit (two singles (Alyssa Villielm (two singles, two runs) and Sydney Bonewit (two RBI) led the Fillies.

In the Quarterfinals, Allison got the win as the Fillies bested the MA Drifters 7-4.

Shannon Bonewit (two doubles, two RBI) and Peace (triple, two RBI) rounded the Fillies attack.

In pool Play the Fillies beat the Ma Panthers 8-2 and blanked the CT Eliminators 12-0 and the Firecracker Red Hots 8-0. Decker earned wins in the Red Hots and Panthers contests while Allison got the win against the Eliminators.

Chilcott (home run, two triples, two doubles, two singles), Finno (two triples, two doubles, single), Shannon Bonewit (double, three singles), Peace (double, three singles), Villielm (double, three singles), Sydney Bonewit (double, three singles), Decker (three singles) and Allison (three singles) led the Fillies in pool play.
