Clermont hosts dance event
WHAT: “Luminarium Dance Company in Concert: Exploring Female Identity at Clermont” WHEN: Saturday, Aug. 4 at 3 p.m. WHERE: Clermont State Historic Site, 1 Clermont Ave., Germantown DETAILS: Company founders Merli V. Guerra and Kimberleigh A. Holman have created two new pieces of dance exclusively for Clermont, exploring the lives of women who called Clermont home and the Livingstons’ relationship to the landscape. Based in Boston, Luminarium is an award-winning contemporary dance company now in its eighth season that is regularly hailed for its unique combination of dance, light, and enlightenment. Pre-colonial Kingston explored in lecture
