New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy says reports of bleak living and working conditions for members of the women’s soccer team he co-owns are “unacceptable” and will be fixed.

The Democratic governor says Friday he takes seriously published reports outlining shortcomings with Sky Blue FC.

Murphy says the buck stops with him, and promised to address complaints lodged by former players and others.

Complaints include players living in ramshackle housing, playing in facilities without showers, and practicing in dirty clothes because of a lack of laundry service.

Murphy owns the team with Steven Temares, the CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond.

The governor says some complaints have already been remedied, while others remain to be dealt with.

The San Antonio Spurs have signed veteran forward Dante Cunningham.

The Spurs made the announcement Friday and did not disclose terms.

Cunningham, a 6-foot-8, 230-pound bruiser, spent last season with New Orleans and Brooklyn and averaged 5.7 points and 4.1 rebounds in 73 total games. He played the first 51 games for New Orleans, including 24 starts, and averaged 5.0 points and 3.8 rebounds. He was sent to Brooklyn on Feb. 8 and averaged 7.5 points and 4.8 rebounds in 22 games.

The nine-year veteran holds career averages of 6.1 points and 3.8 rebounds. His longest tenure with New Orleans, where he played 263 games.

After hosting the World Cup, President Vladimir Putin says the country could bid for a future Summer Olympics.

Asked about hosting a Summer Olympics in Russia for the first time since 1980, Putin says feasibility studies need to be conducted “but obviously we will organize major international competitions here,” in comments reported by state news agency RIA Novosti.

Russia held the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi but its legacy was tainted by allegations of widespread doping which led to Russian athletes being forced to compete as neutrals at this year’s Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

The next summer games Russia could host would be in 2032, because Tokyo, Paris and Los Angeles are already confirmed as hosting the 2020, 2024 and 2028 editions respectively.
