Patel’s Kingston Lanes/Beer World earns Middle D win

A threerun sixth helped Patel’s Kingston Lanes/Beer World beat the Joseph V. Leahy Eagles 7-6 in a Kingston Recreation League men’s softball Middle D Division contest.

Pat Lyons doubled, hit two singles and had a RBI and Rob Dexter doubled and drove in four runs to lead Patel’s.

Hometown Discount Beverage held off a late rally by Deuires Trophies in a 26-25 win in A Division action.

Down 17-26 after Hometown but up a four-spot in the seventh, Deuire’s rallied for eight in the final frame but Hometown managed to hold them off.

Jim Styles belted two homers, a double a single and had two RBI, Kyle Nelson hit two home runs, a single and drove in five runs and Corey Chambers hit two home runs, a single and knocked in four runs to lead Hometown.

Mike Chang hit two home runs and a double and Ant Namias homoered and drove in three runs to pace Deuire’s.

Chris Ferraro hit two home runs and drove in five runs as the Brinnier and Larios Wolfpack beat the Diamond Bullies 9-4 in a B Division game.

Paul Larios homered, Cory Hudek smacked two triples and singled and Reiley Gogg tripled to lead Brinnier and Larios.

Mike Sickler hit three singles and Chuck Cruz and Jon Lowe each doubled to pace the Diamond Bullies in the loss.
