Area business people ‘On the Move’

Jason Tommell, of New Paltz, N.Y., has joined The Chazen Companies as director of land sur- veying for the Poughkeeps­ie office.

He has experience in account management, program management and strategic marketing.

Tommell received his bachelor’s degree in humanities from Washington College in Chestertow­n, Md., and his master of business administra­tion degree in organizati­onal leadership from Norwich University in Northfield, Vt.

Previously, he worked as a land surveyor for Tommell & Associates in Saratoga Springs, as well as Van Dusen & Steves Land Surveyors.

Ryan Cornelison, of Saugerties, N.Y., has joined the New Paltz office of Barton & Loguidice, an engineerin­g, planning, environmen­tal and landscape architectu­re firm.

He will work in sustainabl­e planning and design as an engineer.

Cornelison was part of a 3+2 engineerin­g program at SUNY Cortland where he completed his bachelor of science degree in physics in three years and his bachelor of science degree in civil engineerin­g from Clarkson University in two years.
