Area business people ‘On the Move’
Jason Tommell, of New Paltz, N.Y., has joined The Chazen Companies as director of land sur- veying for the Poughkeepsie office.
He has experience in account management, program management and strategic marketing.
Tommell received his bachelor’s degree in humanities from Washington College in Chestertown, Md., and his master of business administration degree in organizational leadership from Norwich University in Northfield, Vt.
Previously, he worked as a land surveyor for Tommell & Associates in Saratoga Springs, as well as Van Dusen & Steves Land Surveyors.
Ryan Cornelison, of Saugerties, N.Y., has joined the New Paltz office of Barton & Loguidice, an engineering, planning, environmental and landscape architecture firm.
He will work in sustainable planning and design as an engineer.
Cornelison was part of a 3+2 engineering program at SUNY Cortland where he completed his bachelor of science degree in physics in three years and his bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University in two years.
