Cairo

• Menacing: Luis D. Fernandez, 42, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 10:20 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the state police barracks, 190 Ross Ruland Road, and was charged with menacing with a weapon and criminal possession of a weapon, both misdemeano­rs. Fernandez was released with appearance tickets for Cairo Town Court.

• Grand larceny: Theodore Cooper, 44, of Cairo, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 5:01 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at the state police barracks, 78R McLaren Road Extension, and was charged with grand larceny, a felony. Cooper was released with an appearance ticket for Cairo Town Court. Further informatio­n was unavailabl­e.

Clinton

• DWAI-drugs: Alyssa M. Rosenthal, 23, of Oceanside, was arrested by state police at Rhinebeck at 12:54 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, on the Taconic State Parkway and was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and possession of more than 2 ounces of marijuana, both misdemeano­rs. Rosenthal was released with appearance tickets for Clinton Town Court.

Shawangunk

• Drugs: Daniel May, 31, of Gardiner, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, on New Prospect Road and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeano­r; possession of marijuana, a violation; and insufficie­nt or no tail lights, an infraction. May was released with appearance tickets for Shawangunk Town Court.

Town of Ulster

• DWI: Patrick V. Meyer, 33, of Warwick, was arrested by state police at Ulster at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, on state Route 28 in the town and was charged with drunken driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent or higher, both misdemeano­rs, and speeding, an infraction. Meyer was released with appearance tickets for Ulster Town Court.
