Kingston dominates Middletown

Kingston High’s girls swim and diving team registered its second win of the season Friday, defeating Middletown 117-65 in an Orange County Interschol­astic Athletic Associatio­n meet.

Ali Mitchell and Mackenzie Quinn were both double winners for the Tigers. Mitchell won the 200-yard individual medley and 100-breaststro­ke, while Quinn captured the freestyle sprints. Other individual winners for Kingston were Isabella Amaro (200-free), Sabrina Browning (diving), Alexa Peck (butterfly), Angelina Vertullo (500-free) and Eleanora Meyer (backstroke).

Peck and Amaro were both second in other races. Emily McCord recorded a pair of second-place finishes and Emily Constance and Parker Ball posted a second and a third to help score points for the Tigers.
