SAUGERTIES >> Roseann M. Woodworth, 87, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2018 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehab Center in Kingston.

Born March 8, 1931 in Saugerties, she was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Madeline King Maclary and was a life long resident of Saugerties.

She was a hard worker all her life. First worked at Ferroxcube for a few years then she worked at the Saugerties school district as a cook in Mt. Marion transferri­ng to the high school when they stopped cooking in the grades schools. Worked at FL Russell for many years until retirement. Later in years worked at Lezzette Bus Co. as an aid on the bus. She was a kind and generous lady. Would do anything for anyone. Greatest was her love of her family and camping. Many years of camping with family and friends.

Was married to the love of her life Bert. They met when she was 16 and married when she was 19. Celebrated 60 years married before he passed in 2011.

She was predecease­d by her husband, Bert Woodworth, a daughter, Denise Chauncey, a son Lou Woodworth, grandson, Eric Woodworth, a brother, Raymond Maclary and a sister, Doris M. Reynolds.

Surviving are her daughter Deborah Brooks and her husband, Robert of Saugerties, two grandsons, Robert Brooks and his wife Jen of Charlotte, N.C. and Steven Brooks and his wife Mel of Saugerties, five grandchild­ren Brianna, Rachel, Baylee, Taylor and Maddy Brooks, a sister, Janet Peterson and a brother Connie Maclary and his wife Roseann.

Family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Golden Hill for their care and support during her residence there. She loved all of them and became grandma to all.

Friends will be received Saturday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lasher Funeral Home, Tinker St., Woodstock. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by Inurnment at Blue Mountain Cemetery.
