KINGSTON >> Ronald Charles Yates, 76, of Kingston passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018.

He was born in Brooklyn, Nov. 24, 1941; a son of the late Charles T. and Edna M. Horgen Yates. Ronald was a longtime resident of High Falls prior to moving to Kingston two years ago. Prior to his retirement Ronald worked for the Tri Boro Bridge and Tunnel Authority for 27 years and also worked as a bus driver for the City of Kingston School District for 17 years. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.

He enjoyed traveling and was an avid golf

player as well as a NY Ranger fan.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary J. Yates; two sons, Edward Bradfield and his wife Carol, and Michael Bradfield and his wife Kristine; and his siblings, Carol Healy, Janet Aversano, Laurie Im, and the late Bobby Yates. Also survived by four grandchild­ren, Jennifer Bradfield (Seth Harris), Danielle Mason (Phil Mason), Ethan Bradfield, and Emma Bradfield,

and three great-grandchild­ren, Adreenah, Antonio and Dominick.

Visitation for family and friends will begin 4 p.m. Thursday at the George J. Moylan Funeral Home Inc., 2053 Route 32, Rosendale. Rev. Arlene Dawber will officiate a service to celebrate his life at 7:30 p.m. American Legion Post 1219 will conduct Military Honors following the service. (www.GJMoylanFu­neralHome.com)
