The Sauger­ties High School Tech­nol­ogy Depart­ment hosted a meet­ing on Mon­day, Dec. 3, be­tween lo­cal man­u­fac­tur­ing lead­ers and tech­nol­ogy stu­dents to find out how the two can help each other in the years to come. Stu­dents ex­plained the dif­fer­ent path­ways to gain­ing a tech­nol­ogy-heavy diploma, and rep­re­sen­ta­tives from WolfTec, LoDolce Ma­chine Co. Inc., Elna Mag­net­ics, Mark­ertek Video Sup­ply and Ul­ster County Eco­nomic Devel­op­ment were able to meet po­ten­tial fu­ture em­ploy­ees. In the photo here, 11th-grader Ai­dan Gruen dis­plays a shelf that was con­structed in one of his tech­nol­ogy classes.
