Cairo

• False instrument: Rashad T. Lance, 25, of Brooklyn, was arrested by state police at Catskill at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, and was charged with filing a false instrument (intent to defraud), a felony, and false personation, a misdemeanor. Lance was held pending a town court appearance. Further information was unavailable.

Town of Rochester

• Drugs: Jeffrey R. Johanson, 27, of Ulster Park, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, on U.S. Route 44-state Route 55 and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and with having a controlled substance in non-original container and unlawful possession of marijuana, both violations. Johanson was issued a court appearance ticket.

Wawarsing

• Drugs: Amy S. Gollup, 43, of New Paltz, was arrested by state police at Wawarsing at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, on U.S. Route 44-state Route 55 and was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and having a controlled substance in non-original container, a violation. Gollup was issued a town court appearance ticket.
