John P. Jab­bour, 64, of Wood­stock

WOOD­STOCK >> John P. Jab­bour, 64, of Wood­stock, died Tues­day, Dec. 4, 2018.

John was the son of Ge­orge J. Borababy and the late Ann (Mosleh) Borababy.

John grew up in Utica, N.Y., and upon high school grad­u­a­tion, he at­tended the Univer­sity of North Carolina-Raleigh, where he ma­jored in wildlife bi­ol­ogy. John had a pas­sion for foot­ball, fish­ing, hunt­ing, and ski­ing, and en­joyed the out­doors tremen­dously. John was the owner of JK’s Wine and Liquor in Kingston, N.Y., and a friendly face to many in the com­mu­nity.

In ad­di­tion to his fa­ther, John is sur­vived by his son, Ni­cholas M. Jab­bour, and his mother, Dianne Jab­bour; his broth­ers, James and Ge­orge Borababy; and sis­ters, Ameena Jab­bour, Regina Beaulac, and Anne Marie Shore. Along with fam­ily and ex­tended rel­a­tives, John left be­hind a legacy of laugh­ter and un­for­get­table mem­o­ries that we will trea­sure for­ever.

Ar­range­ments are un­der the guid­ance of Joseph V. Leahy Fu­neral Home Inc., 27 Smith Ave., Kingston (www. jvleahyfh.com). Friends will be re­ceived at the fu­neral home on Satur­day for a Pe­riod of Re­mem­brance from 2 to 5 p.m.

In lieu of flow­ers, do­na­tions can be made to the Ever­glades Foun­da­tion or St. Jude’s Chil­dren’s Hospi­tal.
