Man, 37, charged in November homicide
A city man was charged with second-degree murder Friday in the November fatal shooting of a another man on the Poughkeepsie arterial, according to police.
Terry Cherry, 37, of Poughkeepsie, was charged in connection with the death of Jaquain Johnson, 20, of Poughkeepsie, who died from a single gunshot to the chest.
Johnson was found wounded early Nov. 5 after police received reports of shots fired in the area of Mill and Garden streets.
