Rozzi scores 37 to lead Highland past Red Hook

HIGHLAND, N.Y. >> Bri Rozzi scored a career-high 37 points, 17 of them in the fourth quarter, and grabbed 15 rebounds to lift Highland past Red Hook 51-47 in a Mid-Hudson Athletic League girls basketball game Friday.
Bridgette Carle pitched in 9 points and 8 rebounds for the Huskies.
Erin Hare scored 19 points, 11 of them in the fourth quarter, and Chrissy Gildersleeve contributed 13 for the Raiders.
Onteora 51, Ellenville 29.
At Boiceville, the Eagles rode a 43-20 advantage at the end of the third quarter to an easy victory over the Devils.
Juliette Patterson led Onteora (4-3), putting up a double-double (17 points, 11 rebounds) while Ashley Hillard and Monroe Maki each contributed 8 points and combined for 7 steals, and Nicole Lane added 6 points and 4 steals.
Wallkill 53, Minisink Valley 42
At Slate Hill, Emma Spindler scored 14 points and Brianna Cross contributed 10 as the Panthers rode a 17-9 run in the fourth quarter to victory over the Warriors in a non-league contest.
Wallkill was on top 3633 heading into the final period of play after a closely contested third quarter. The Panthers led 19-18 at the half after going on an 11-6 run in the second that erased an early 12-8 deficit.
Emma Schawarzbeck added 8 points to the Panthers effort.
Katie Burke scored 15 points and Mackenzie Tresch tacked on 11 for the Warriors.
Wallkill will host Saugerties on Tuesday.
