Carmella M. Dreiser, 92, of Kingston
KINGSTON >> Carmella M. Dreiser, 92, of Gross Street, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her loving family and friend.
Born July 5, 1926, in Kingston, she was a daughter of the late Cosmos J. and Martha K. (Buboltz) Costello.
Carmella was employed by the Golden Hill Nursing Home for 17 years as a receptionist and the assistant to the director of nursing. Previously, she was employed as a bookkeeper by the Walter Reade Theater and UPAC, and worked in various garment factories as a seamstress.
Surviving are her children: Ronald Dreiser and his wife Karen of Port Ewen, Kirk Dreiser and his wife Michelle of Fort Pierce, Fla., Marcia Lima
and her husband John of Kingston; her grandchildren, Jared Dreiser, Mara Dreiser, Josiah Dreiser, Christopher Dreiser, Nathan Dreiser, Abigail Dreiser, Amy Lima-Istad, and Kara Lima; her brother, Ronald Costello; and her extended family and special friends, Ann and Neal Smoller. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Her husband, Henry Francis Dreiser, and sister, Isabelle Costello-Weider, predeceased her.

Kingston (www.jvleahyfh.com). The Dreiser family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. A funeral procession will form at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
