Elizabeth Ann ‘Betty Boop’ North, 54, of Connelly

CONNELLY >> Elizabeth Ann “Betty Boop” North, 54, of Connelly, N.Y., passed away Monday, Jan. 7, 2019. She was born on Jan. 4, 1965, in Kingston, N.Y., the daughter of the late Alton and Mary North.

Betty worked as a seamstress at Wonderly’s in Kingston for many years. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, darts, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her fiance, Don Montgomery; her children, Willie North, Jerri Brooks, and Chantay Toney; her stepchildren, Elizabeth Montgomery and Yolanda Rivers; grandchildren, Aniyah North, Willie North Jr., Kaimeer Meeks, Jazaraye Meeks, Joshua Drake, Julian Organtini, and Jakobi Organtini; her siblings, Evelyn Gjurovich, Susan Medley and her husband Robert, Cyd North, Barry North and his wife Joan, Teri Berro, and Wanita North, as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Victoria

Gjurovich, Anthony North, Madeline Haslam, and Ann Sorci.
