Five area residents — Sherrie E. Torres of Kingston, Ashley N. Carpenter of Lake Katrine, Alison R. Croke of Highland, Carly R. Voerg of Saugerties and Matthew Schifani of Modena — were named to the president’s list at the State University of New York at Canton for the fall semester.
Students earn president’s list status by achieving a grade point average of 3.75 or higher.
Torres and Carpenter are both legal studies majors. Croke is majoring in management. Voerg is majoring in veterinary technology. Schifani is majoring in information technology.
Three area residents — Shayna J. Ostoyic of Saugerties, Nathan R. Sabarese of Gardiner and Logan J. Mead of Germantown — were named to the dean’s list at SUNY Canton for the spring semester.
Students earn dean’s list status by achieving a grade point average from 3.25 to 3.74.
Ostoyic is majoring in law enforcement. Sabarese is majoring in funeral services administration. Mead is majoring in game design and development.
